Hamdi Başaran, the founder of the HABAŞ Group (1913 Kemaliye – 1987), was a role model to those around him and his employees throughout his life, with his diligence, courage, and entrepreneurial spirit. As a pioneer, he shared the satisfaction of his achievements with them. He began his business career at a young age by operating a flour mill in Elazığ. Later, after migrating to Istanbul, he engaged in the trade of textile products.
